Set and manage alarms and media alarms

You can set general alarms, play your favorite music, or cull a character equally an alarm with only your vocalisation. Alarms will sound for x minutes if not stopped or snoozed.

You can turn off a timer and general or media alarms without saying, "Hey Google." Just say, "Finish." This is bachelor on Google Nest or Abode speakers and displays in English-speaking countries.

Note:

  • Alarm sounds are simply played from speakers or displays. Alarm sounds don't play on other Bandage devices (TVs, other speakers) that are associated with your speaker or brandish.
  • Warning tones can be changed on Nest displays once you lot outset an alarm. You lot can't change general alarm tones on speakers.
  • Alarm will audio for 10 minutes if not turned off.

Alarms

General alarms

To do this:  Say "Ok Google" or "Hey Google," then:
Set new warning

"Ready alarm for 6 AM tomorrow"

To set an alarm by impact (Nest displays only):

  1. Swipe upward from the lesser of your screen, and tap Alarms.
  2. TapSet an alarm.
  3. Choose a fourth dimension for the alarm and tap Set.
  4. Customize your alarm to:
    • Make the warning echo.
    • Change the alarm tone.
    • Include a sunrise alarm.
    • Play your morning time Routine after your warning goes off.
  5. When finished, tapDone.

Note: To view your current alarms and alter your alarm defaults, swipe up on your display and tap Alarmsand thenSettings.
Prepare alarm with name "Set an alarm for 7 AM chosen Medicine"
Fix recurring warning "Set alarm for 7 AM every twenty-four hours of the calendar week"
Ask almost existing alarm "When is my alarm ready for?"
"When is my Friday alarm?"
"When is my medicine alert?"

Ask most all alarms

 "What alarms are set?"
Abolish an existing alarm "Abolish my alarm"
"Cancel my medicine alarm"
Stop a ringing alarm

"End"

To terminate an alarm, you don't demand to say "Hey Google," just say "Finish." (English language language only)

  • Google Nest Mini (2nd gen) - Tap the heart
  • Google Domicile Mini (1st gen) - Press and concord either side
  • Google Home Max - Tap the line on the top or right side

Media alarm

You can set your favorite music as an alarm. Select a song, artist, genre or playlist from your default music service in the Google Home app. If you have a premium business relationship with your default music service, you tin also apply the premium options the service offers.

Note:

  • This feature is only bachelor in the Usa.
  • This feature is available in the following languages:
    • Google Nest and Home speakers: English language, French (France and Canada), German, Japanese and Castilian
    • Google Nest displays: English (United States)
To do this:  Say "Ok Google" or "Hey Google," and so:
Fix media, music or radio alert

"Gear up <radio station> radio alarm for 6 AM tomorrow."
"Set <song or artist> music alarm for 7 AM Mon."

Set recurring media, music or radio alarm

 "Set <song or artist> music alarm for vii AM every twenty-four hour period."
Ask about existing alarm "When is my warning set for?"

Ask most all alarms

 "What alarms are ready?"
Cancel an existing alarm "Cancel my warning."
End a ringing alarm

"Terminate."

Notation: If your speaker or display isn't connected to Wi-Fi at the time of the media alarm, a full general alarm volition sound instead.

Character alarms

You lot can set fun alarms from some of your favorite characters for an entertaining and easy way to go your day started.

Sunrise alarms

On Nest displays, you can set alarms to gently wake you lot upwards. When a sunrise alarm is gear up, the screen will gradually brighten until it is time to wake upwardly.

  1. To set an alarm, say "Hey Google, ready alarm for 6 AM tomorrow," or swipe upward from the bottom of your display and tap Alarms, and then ready a time.
  2. Choose whether you want the alarm to repeat and select a tone for the alarm.
  3. Plow onSunrise alarm.
  4. To customize your alert, tapSunrise alarm:
    • With compatible smart lights, you tin have the lights in your room burnish during your sunrise.
    • Adjust the sunrise window for a faster or slower paced sunrise.
    • Select a pre-alarm. With a pre-alarm, soft sounds like birds chirping will play in the last minutes prior to the warning tone.
  5. When finished, tap Done.
